Abiotic: non-living.

Biome: geographic area that is similar.

Biotic: living.

Ecosystem: part of a biome in which living and non-living things interact with one another.

Nutrients: proteins, minerals and carbohydrates life needs to sustain itself.

Organic matter: remains of once living creatures.

pH: measure of the acidity of water.

Topography: Shape of surface land.
