Autotroph: Organisms that generate their own energy.
Chemosynthesis: Process by which hydrogen sulfide is processed for energy; similar to photosynthesis.
Food chain: Diagram that shows which organisms eat each other.
Food web: Diagram that shows how organisms relate to one another.
Heterotroph: Organisms that consume other organisms for energy.
Photosynthesis: Process by which plants and a few types of single-celled organisms use energy from the sun to transform carbon dioxide and water into a storable form of energy.
