The Periodic Table

Since you will be learning about the elements that make up stars, you may need a reminder about the periodic table.

When you look at the interactive periodic table above, there's a few terms you should know:

Atomic Number: the number of protons in an element.

Atomic Mass: number of protons and neutrons in an element.

Element: type of matter with only one kind of atom.
