Last week you learned how to calculate redshift. As a result, you also learned about scientific notation. Beyond calculating redshift you also found out about dark matter and the possibility of dark energy, which is causing the universe to expand.

In this week you will learn about the formation of elements within galaxies, stars, Earth, and the other planets in our solar system. You will also learn about the life-cycle of stars and what will happen to our sun in the distant future.

This week brings together what you've learned in weeks 1 and 2. Enjoy!
