In this class you will do a very basic redshift calculation. This is the formula:

Here's an example broken down by steps:

You now have the redshift, but you need to convert it to scientific notation.
.000457 = 4.57 x 10-4
Let's do another example:
That's the redshift. Convert it to scientific notation.
.000224 = 2.24 x 10-4
