For the remainder of the semester we will be reading a book and working on a project related to the book. You may be able to check the book out at your local library. If not, below is a link to an online copy.

You can order a copy of Flatland from the OHSU Amazon.com store and get the best (and cheapest) editions, and help support OHSU activities at the same time! In fact, this is the site you should use every time you go to Amazon.com to purchase something because each time you do, OHSU benefits!

Here's how:

1. Go to http://www.openhighschool.org/?page_id=2679 (or click the link at the top of the OHSU website).

2. To find Flatland, click on either the Mathematics or Science category in the Search box on the right side of the page.

3. Choose the version you would like, either the paperback printed version, or the Kindle (ebook) version. You don't have to have a Kindle to read the Kindle version. You can also download it to any Kindle device (YOUR COMPUTER, iPad, iTouch, Android, or Windows Phone 7). Please note that if you go straight to Amazon and search for it, there are many, many versions, and some of them are not very good or are much more expensive. The versions in the OHSU store are the best!

4. Click "Add to Shopping Cart" for the print version, or "click here to go to Amazon" for the eBook version.

5. When you click "Proceed to checkout" it will take you to the Amazon website. Click "Continue" to add the book to your Amazon shopping cart, and follow the purchase directions from there.

Please note that Amazon.com shipping is more than the cost of the book. You can get free shipping if you order $25 or more of qualified items. Check the other items in our Amazon store in case you need anything else while you're there.
