About Digital Commerce

The definition of commerce is simply the buying and selling of goods and services. “Digital commerce” refers to those sales and purchases that are made online. Just as there are issues to consider and cautions to be aware of when spending your money, there are similar issues and cautions to be aware of when spending online. Those issues that will be discussed here consist of:
  1. Making secure payments and knowing which sites are not safe for giving out financial information, like credit card numbers.
  2. Avoiding purchases that are actually scams to get your money.
  3. Knowing how to make purchases at auction web sites.
  4. Preventing spyware from downloading unwanted programs and gathering personal information about you.
  5. Comparison shopping for finding quality brands, reading other customer’s reviews, and locating the best price.
