There are many historical markers that tell about the Dakota-U.S. War of 1862.  They are written from the point of view of the white settlers.  Choose one of the markers from the website.  Using the text of the original marker, change the wording to make it from the point of view of the Dakota people. See the example I provide for you here: http://poster.4teachers.org/worksheet/view.php?id=149279

In the Web Poster Wizard website, http://poster.4teachers.org/index.php

under Student Log-in, click on Create a New Poster.  Click on "Next." Then type your name and my name (Paula Kostman) Our code is 210036. Create a password.  Type it again. Follow the instructions on the website to create your poster.  You may link your poster to the webpage with your historic marker on it, and you may also add a picture of your historic marker if you know how.
