Element Poster - The New Way

Remember how you used to make posters?sleepy First you would find a bunch of pictures and information on the internet, and then you glued all of it to a sheet of construction paper and handed this mess to your teacher.sad Guess what: THOSE TIMES ARE OVERtongueout.

Here's the new way to make a poster using Aviary:

1. Choose an element from a list provided by your teacher.
2. Go to: http://aviary.com/ and sign up for free.
3. Choose Image Markup and create your poster.
4. Be sure to include the following information in your poster:
  • 1 image (more is optional)
  • element name and symbol
  • atomic number
  • atomic mass
  • number of protons, neutrons, and electrons
  • element family it belongs to
  • some physical and chemical characteristics
  • what is it used for and how is it used
  • how it was discovered
5. When finished, click "Save and Host Online"
6. By the third box entitled "Image URL" choose full and click "Copy it"
7. Go back to this assignment page and click "Edit my submission" below.
8. Write your name and then right click and paste the link.
